UNIMATIC x TIME FOR ART

 

UNIMATIC debuts its first automatic chronograph movement in a one-of-a-kind timepiece created specially for the Swiss Institute as part of the TimeForArt’s second edition and will be auctioned for charity during Phillips auction in New York City on December 7th.

 

This year, TimeForArt featured unique timepieces from 25 distinguished watch brands, ranging from cutting-edge independent watchmakers to renowned luxury watch brands. Each one-of-a-kind timepiece created for TimeForArt expresses the most artistic elements of contemporary watchmaking, shining a light on the creative core of today’s horology. UNIMATIC U3S-TFA was auctioned for charity during Phillips auction in New York City on December 7th. The piece was exhibited at a dedicated TimeForArt installation within Phillips’ exhibition space from December 4th through 6th with an estimate value of $3,000 – $6,000 and was sold for $20,320.
